Dr Tim Rooke graduated from the Otago Medical School in New Zealand in 1978. He is a member of Royal College of General Practitioners of New Zealand. He launched his career in medicine with an internship at Hamilton Waikato New Zealand, where he gained a comprehensive wealth of knowledge through a variety of settings. After moving to Australia, he has worked in many regional and country towns all over Australia, gaining years of experience and skill in managing patients in rural Australian settlings.
He has been a frequent locum GP in Barham NSW until 2026, where he permanently joined Quantum Medical Centre in Barham. Combining his passion for medicine and love of all things aviation, over the years Tim has gained a Diploma in Aviation Medicine to become a Recreation Pilot, is a Grade 1 Assessor of Civil Aviation of New Zealand and proud member of Casa (Civil Aviation Safety of Australia). A proud kiwi now ready to call Barham home, Tim looks forward to getting to know the community on a permanent basis.
